Summary

Trainee Cosmetic Repair Technician

Liverpool | Full UK Driving Licence Required | Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm | Full-Time

Do you want to learn a specialist trade in construction, earn while you learn, and enjoy excellent career progression? Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Trainee Cosmetic Repair Technicians for an established, family-run construction company based in Caldicott, Monmouthshire.

This company has over 40 years of experience and is one of the UK's largest sealants specialists, with seven offices across England, Scotland, and Wales. Cosmetic repair is a highly skilled trade, repairing surfaces such as ceramic, metal, wood, and glass, making items look as good as new rather than being replaced.

Key Duties
  • Enrolment on the internal training programme from day one.

  • Hands-on training in the company's dedicated facility, then on-site experience.

  • Work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop Cosmetic Repair skills.

  • Prepare and make safe workspaces.

  • Carry out intricate repair work with patience and attention to detail.

  • Experience a variety of tasks to develop different skills on every site.

Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • No previous experience necessary.

  • Interested in learning and progressing in a construction trade.

  • Conscientious, willing to learn, and reliable.

  • Excellent eye for detail and colour matching.
