St Ann’s Heath Junior school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a fixed term contract to join our supportive and dedicated team. • Do you enjoy working with children, motivating them to achieve success? • Are you an individual who is hardworking and able to show initiative? • Are you able to work as part of a team, listening to advice and feedback from those around you? • Are you a patient and supportive individual who works well under pressure? This is an exciting opportunity to join the learning support team at St Ann’s Heath Junior School on a fixed term contract, ending July 2026. We are seeking to recruit an individual who is proactive and will be able to provide an excellent level of support to pupils in the school. The role will involve working on a one-to-one and small group basis with children with varying needs, under the supervision of the class teacher and SENCo. The role is full time, 08.45am – 3.15pm (term time only, plus agreed INSET days), 5 days per week commencing 5th January 2026 or earlier if possible. Duties will involve lunchtime supervision. The post is on Surrey Pay Scale PS3.3 which currently has a full-time equivalent of £24,331. The actual pro rata salary will be £16,545, based on 28 hours and 45 minutes per week for 38.6 weeks per year (term-time only). Mid-morning break (15 minutes) and Lunch break (30 minutes) are unpaid.
