Crynodeb
We are seeking to appoint a Minibus Driver to join us as soon as possible. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and security of students during their morning and afternoon commutes, being responsible for creating a safe environment by maintaining high standards of behaviour within the minibus, enforcing essential safety rules and protocols to minimise the risk of accidents and incidents.
The successful candidate will hold a full clean UK D1 driving license, have a basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, good interpersonal skills including being able to communicate with people at different levels, be friendly, approachable, reliable and punctual.
Start date: As soon as possible
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day:
Morning: 7.00am – 8.30am (1.5 hours)
Afternoon: 3.00pm – 4.30pm (1.5 hours)
Term-time only.
There may be the option for a job share.
Salary: £31,022 FTE, pro-rated to £10,360 per annum.
Terms: This is fixed-term until 31 August 2026 due to funding and operational requirements. There is a possibility that the position may continue beyond this date, subject to funding and need for the next academic year.
