Crynodeb
We are looking for a Clinician Support & Assistant Psychologist Development Coordinator to join our Autism Service team in Chichester. This is a key operational role that sits at the heart of our service, acting as a vital bridge between our Operations Team, a network of clinicians, and a team of office-based Assistant Psychologists. The role ensures clinicians feel supported, informed and enabled to deliver high-quality assessments efficiently, without compromising the patient experience. Working closely with the Service Lead and Clinical Lead, you will also coordinate and oversee the fair allocation of clinical tasks to Assistant Psychologists, ensuring equitable access to development opportunities and meaningful exposure to a range of clinical activities. This role is ideal for an ambitious, empathetic Assistant Psychologist who enjoys coordination, problem-solving and supporting others to do their best work. You’ll bring a calm, personable communication style, confidence in managing queries and challenges, and a constructive, solutions-focused mindset. While this is not a directly clinical role, a strong grounding in psychology and an interest in service development will enable you to understand clinical processes, team dynamics and the pressures clinicians may face. The candidate must have a psychology degree or a relative discipline as this is an Assistant Psychologist role. The candidate must be able to travel into Chichester and be a reliable commutable distance.
