Summary
TEMPORARY POSITION: Currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Operative to support the existing team in delivering cleaning services across the full estate at West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters-Birkenshaw BD11 2DY,
which includes the Fire Service Headquarters, Training Centre and Fire Station.
Position is for 15 hours per week, Monday -Friday, Shift Start time 06:45AM
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Vacuuming and mopping communal areas,
Removal of refuse,
Cleaning communal toilets, shower areas and changing rooms,
Replenish consumables,
Cleaning walls, skirting boards, doors and glass,
Previous experience in using electrical floor machinery,
To make sure all areas are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, Health and Safety and presentation.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws and regulations.
Maintain a positive on-site relationship with clients.
Flexibility to cover planned and unplanned absences.
Flexibility to cover other stations within the surrounding area.
Position is SHORT TERM TEMPORARY.
£12.60 per hour, paid on the 28th monthly.
