What does the job involve? Experienced Personal Care assistant required , to support a disabled lady who is a wheelchair user. The candidate will need to have experience working with disabled people in their own home .
The successful candidate will need to support her with personal care, domestic care, cooking, shopping and various other activities as instructed by her
The candidate should be trustworthy, very compassionate and respectful. They will need to have a professional work ethic with the highest regard to confidentiality.
Hours / days: 16 hours a week
Pay rate: £14.20 per hour.
Skills / experience / qualifications required: Must have worked with disabled people and wheelchair users. Must have experience of using a hoist
Due to the specific requirements of the role, consideration will only be given to Female candidates; this is in line with Equality Act 2010 guidelines on Genuine Occupational Requirements. Section 9; Schedule 83 [Work: Exceptions] (Part 1; Occupational Requirements) - applies to this post.”
