Description:
A young lady is looking for a personal assistant, to support her to live an independent life on a day-to-day basis. As a personal assistant you will be required to provide support in a range of areas including, but not limited to:
Someone who is experienced and trained or willing to be trained in the administration of anti-seizure medication (emergency usage only)
Someone who is experienced with epilepsy.
Support with keeping calm and relaxed to reduce anxieties when in public, crowded, loud places.
To be patient, friendly and calm, able to support someone who lacks confidence and can get flustered, frustrated, nervous and anxious.
Share interests in female beauty, make-up, female care – topics of conversation and visiting business for treatments (eg. Nails or facials)
Ideally share interests in 'Hollywood' – actors, movies / TV shows of topic and genre
Someone who has experience with learning difficulties
Accompaniment on days out and activities away from home
Encouragement around completing day-to-day routine
Looking for someone to be open to get to know me, to be understanding, patient and flexible. Experience of working with people with learning difficulty is desirable. Able to start as soon as possible. Experience of working as a Personal assistant is not necessary but keen learner would be an advantage. If you are friendly, enthusiastic, motivating, and caring and want to support someone to remain independent, this job is for you!

Shift Pattern:
Hours are – 18 hours split between 2 days a week (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday but open to discussion.) Times to be agreed.
