Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst (FP&A Analyst)

Location: Hybrid working from Bolton, 2 days per week in the office

Contract Type: 6 month fixed term contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £49,500 - £55,500 dependent on experience

About the Role

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in driving performance across the Group by providing high-quality financial analysis and insight to support decision making. You will act as a trusted business partner to budget holders and senior managers, offering guidance on commercial matters and promoting financial awareness. Your work will include analysing monthly performance, highlighting key trends and variances and supporting the development and maintenance of budgets, forecasts and KPIs.

You will also collaborate with the MI team to streamline reporting and automate processes, while building strong relationships with operational teams and acting as a primary point of contact for finance queries. Through timely reporting, insightful analysis and proactive business partnering, you will help ensure the Group makes informed, performance-driven decisions.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst with relevant FP&A or management accounting experience in a large, complex organisation who can influence financial outcomes and work collaboratively with operational managers. You will be comfortable presenting insights clearly to stakeholders and using advanced Excel and other financial tools to manipulate and analyse data.

A professional accounting qualification or active CIMA, ACCA or ACA study are essential, and it would be advantageous to have experience in FP&A and familiarity with Access Dimensions, along with advanced Excel VBA skills.
