Crynodeb
The post-holder will provide and coordinate specialist Radiology nursing care, offering expert advice and support to staff and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. They will work across interventional radiology, fluoroscopy, recovery bays, and the breast clinic (SACH), upholding the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintaining public trust in the profession. Responsibilities include managing nursing activities, implementing best practices, and promoting cleanliness within clinical areas. The role requires awareness of budgetary considerations and assisting with monitoring contracts and service agreements. The post-holder will also assist with patient transport, moving, and handling within the Radiology department, utilizing provided manual handling aids. Wearing radiation protective clothing (0.5mm equivalent) is required when working in radiological areas.
