Crynodeb
The post holder will act as an autonomous practitioner within the maternity team, providing continuity of care where possible and supporting the development of diabetes pathways. Responsibilities include: clinical governance activities such as implementing research-based protocols, monitoring quality standards, and participating in local and national audits. managerial duties, including supervising maternity support workers, assisting with staff appraisals, and maintaining diabetes-related equipment and supplies. Leadership is integral to this position, requiring the ability to motivate staff, act as a role model, and contribute to service evaluation and improvement.
