Summary

We are seeking a proactive and committed Housing Neighbourhood Officer to join our Housing Services team here at South Holland District Council.



This is a part time role (15 hours per week).

As a Housing Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring tenants have safe, secure homes and that our neighbourhoods thrive. Your work will support families, protect vulnerable residents, and uphold the standards that make our housing service trusted and respected.



Key Responsibilities

Manage rent accounts and take proactive steps to prevent arrears.
Oversee tenancy agreements and resolve breaches promptly.
Address anti-social behaviour and tenancy fraud in line with policy.
Provide advice and support to tenants, promoting positive engagement.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent housing services.


About You

Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a varied caseload and work under pressure.
Experience in social housing or a similar environment.
