Shift Pattern
-Week 1: Saturday-Sunday (Day Shift), Monday-Tuesday (Night Shift)
-Week 2: Saturday-Sunday (Day Shift), Monday-Wednesday (Night Shift)
About the RoleWe're looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team at the Gousto site in Spalding. This is a key role where you'll help protect people, property, and assets while maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.
You'll be a trusted presence on site, delivering high standards of security in line with Assignment Instructions (AI's), Service Level Agreements, and Key Performance Indicators. Key ResponsibilitiesSite Operations
-Deliver security services in full compliance with site Assignment Instructions (AI's)
-Protect people, property, and assets through vigilance and professionalism
-Ensure compliance with company policies, UK law, and regulatory requirements
-Proactively review and suggest improvements to site procedures
-Maintain full compliance with SIA licensing and statutory requirements
-Work in an organised, methodical, and professional manner at all times
Security & Health & Safety
-Identify, report, and respond to Health & Safety risks or hazards
-Stay alert to threats or changes in the site environment
-Take swift, appropriate action to prevent disruption, loss, or damage
-Remain calm and professional in challenging or high-pressure situations
-Accurately record incidents and complete reports
-Carry out check calls and report incidents to the Communication Centre or emergency services when required
Training & Development
-Complete all required training and competency assessments
-Undertake additional training to support ongoing professional development
-Use technology effectively to meet work objectives
-Ensure SIA licence renewal is completed at least 16 weeks before expiry

-Previous security experience
-Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
-Reliable, professional, and confident communicator
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Own transport due to limited site access
