We have an opportunity for a full-time Cash Office / Customer Services Agent to join our clients cash office / customer services team.
Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based fully onsite. This role is based in Renfrew. Working pattern is 5 over 7 days per week, with normal office hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and working in the cash office on Sundays where required (8:00 am – 12 noon). Flexibility in working hours to meet customer demand and ability to work additional hours on occasion to cover team holidays is also essential. Microsoft Outlook/email skills are essential.
Full training will be provided. The employer seeks candidates with a positive outlook, strong work ethic, and a genuine keenness to learn.
Cash Office:
• Manage daily duties in a secure environment
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate customer and payment detail
• Provide accurate and valid information in response to all customer queries
• Manage and resolve customer complaints
• Undertake a variety of administrative tasks
• Serve customers in a friendly manner with a customer service focus
• Update customer account with transaction details, ensure all monetary transactions are accurately recorded
• Count large cash sums quickly and accurately both manually and via automated counter, identifying any fraudulent currency
• Complete all banking transaction documentation and prepare cash etc. for Securicor collection
• Complete reconciliations for Cash Office when on a closing shift, ensure all money is kept securely on-site until collection
Customer Services:
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls with a professional telephone manner
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate customer and order details
• Provide accurate and valid information in response to all customer queries
• Manage and resolve customer complaints
• Undertake a variety of administrative tasks
• Develop stock and product knowledge to assist with customer queries and order process
