Summary
We are seeking an Office Junior/Assistant to join our legal practice to assist and support our team in the day to day running of the office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop office skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will support our administrative team and contribute to maintaining an efficient workplace. Prior office experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties:
- Provide general administrative support to the office team, including filing, photocopying, scanning documents.
- Answering telephone calls and maintaining professional telephone manner.
- Keeping check on stationery supplies and advising when stock is low.
- Monitoring incoming emails and distributing as necessary.
- Use of Microsoft Office suite (Word/Outlook).
- Typing duties including letters, emails, documents.
- Audio typing (training will be provided).
Skills and attributes:
- Previous office or admin experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
- Computer skills with familiarity of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
- Good typing skills.
- Audio typing (not essential as training will be given).
- Good telephone manner with clear communication skills.
- Educated to GCSE standard (Maths/English).
- Organised individual, trustworthy and reliable.
