Summary

Fabricator / Welder / Fitter – Permanent Role
£17.00 – £19.00 per hour DOE
Aldridge, West Midlands
Monday – Friday | Days | Overtime Available

Workforce are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer operating within a project-based fabrication and assembly environment. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a skilled Fabricator / Welder / Fitter to join their experienced team on a permanent basis.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will work on projects from start to finish, rather than repetitive bench or jig work.

The Role
  • Approx. 30% welding & fabrication / 70% fitting & assembly


  • MIG welding (TIG experience highly desirable)


  • Fabrication and fitting of engineered structures and assemblies


  • Working from fully detailed engineering drawings


  • General mechanical fitting and hands-on assembly work


  • Working in a covered outdoor workshop environment


  • Close collaboration with a skilled and supportive engineering team


    The Ideal Candidate
    • Experienced Fabricator / Welder / Fitter


    • Able to read and work confidently from engineering drawings


    • Strong practical and mechanical fitting skills


    • Comfortable working independently once trained


    • Team player with a positive, reliable attitude


    • Experience in project-based or bespoke fabrication advantageous


      What’s On Offer
      • £17.00-£19.00 per hour, depending on experience


      • Permanent, full-time position


      • Day shift: Monday to Friday, typically 08:00 – 16:30
