QTS Tutor

Prospero Teaching is looking for a QTS Tutor in the Consett area currently holding Qualified Teaching Status to deliver English tuition to KS4 students.

As a QTS Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupil's education, whilst focusing on engaging them at a critical point in their education.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, engaging lessons as students approach their GCSE's.

At Prospero Teaching, we will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.

POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Consett
- Position - QTS Tutor
- Start date -November 2025
- Ongoing
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time
- Rate of pay - up to £30 per hour
- Hours - Working hours can differentiate, up to 15 hours per week, per student

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS or QTLS qualifications
- 6 months+ experience working in a UK school

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
