Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Procurement Specialist

Two exciting opportunities has arisen within our Procurement Team, we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Procurement Specialist's. The successful candidate will be part of a small dynamic team, working to support the organisation and its subsidiary companies to procure and contract a vast array of goods and services.

About the role

Procurement Specialist's will be involved in both above and below threshold procurement activities, working with stakeholders to develop and deliver sourcing strategies to ensure the organisation is compliant with our standing financial instructions and the New Procurement Act.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a Procurement team, either CIP's qualified or similar through experience. The Procurement team report into the Director of Finance, working as part of the Resources Directorate. This management structure ensures the service is supported with appropriate representation at every level of the organisation.

The successful candidate will work in our Procurement team led by the Group Procurement Manager: Chris Smith.

  • Procurement Specialist - Roll one, permanent
  • Procurement Specialist - Roll two, fixed term until Sept 2026
  • Salary is £39,680 per annum
  • Location: To be agreed - Agile work from both home and any * Karbon Office
  • Some travel will be required
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
