Crynodeb
This post will work within the Medical Education Team. This team works closely with Universities and NHS England (NHSE) to oversee the high-quality education and training of undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainee doctors. Provide high level administrative support and coordination for the delivery of the undergraduate teaching in the Newcastle, Gateshead and Northumbria LEPs. Work closely with the Undergraduate Leads, Teaching Fellows, University staff and Consultant teachers to plan and deliver Year 3, 4 and 5 rotations. Collate undergraduate feedback and work with Undergraduate Leads to look for trends to inform developments in the design and delivery of teaching. Liaising with the clinical teams to ensure clinical attachments are planned effectively and communicated to students and teachers in a timely manner. Ensure timetables and resources are accurately uploaded onto the University platform. Regularly attend the Psychiatry Implementation & Innovation Group (PIIG) and the Undergraduate meetings for Newcastle, Gateshead and Northumbria, as well as annual University ADQM.
