Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Labourer/Store Person for our client based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering firm, offering a clear path for progression into an Engineer role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will play a key supporting role within the team, working across stores, sites, and logistics operations.
Role Overview:
This varied role involves supporting the day-to-day operations across the engineering stores and active job sites. The Labourer/Store Person will assist engineers with site tasks, manage materials and deliveries, and help maintain a safe and tidy working environment. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop a long-term career within engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining stock within the stores.
Assisting engineers with on-site tasks.
Delivering tools and materials to various sites.
General labouring and site clearance duties.
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a labouring, warehouse, or stores environment is desirable.
A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and progress.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Offering:
Real Living Wage.
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4pm 39 hours
Company van provided.

25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.
