Qualified Early Years Educator
Location: Bristol
Salary: £27,206.40 per annum
Contract: Full time 40 hours per week

Join the team at Raised in Bristol – where early years education meets community impact.

We’re a not-for-personal-profit social enterprise with a clear mission: to provide the very best early years education while investing in the communities we serve.

We’re a passionate bunch at Raised In! We love what we do, and we’re committed to helping the youngest children reach their full potential in friendly, nurturing, and engaging home-from-home environments. We’re building something special and we’d love you to be part of it.

Our approach centres on child-led learning through play, with a thoughtfully designed curriculum that nurtures curiosity and supports each child’s unique interests. From the baby room through to preschool, we focus on every stage of development—helping children grow in confidence and preparing them for their exciting next steps towards school.

At Raised In, we believe in the power of education to shape the future, and we’re looking for enthusiastic early years professionals to join our team and make an impact. Whether you’re seeking career growth, a fulfilling role, or simply a supportive work environment, Raised In offers it all – and more!

We’re looking for Educators for a range of Early Years Practitioner roles across our network of Bristol nurseries. We have four Raised in Bristol nurseries: Raised in Bristol at Easton Community Centre (BS5), Raised in Bristol at Felix Road Adventure Playground (BS5), Raised in Bristol at Docklands Community Centre (BS2) and Raised in Bristol at the Greenway Centre (BS10).

Head to our website to see the full list of our current vacancies.

Why work with us?

We really value our expert team. As well as offering competitive pay for all roles in a friendly and supportive team, you’ll receive lots of great benefits:

● Competitive pay
● Annual pay reviews
● Paid lunch 1 hour break
● 50% off for your child in our nurseries
● Enhanced maternity pay
● Employer pension
● ‘Refer a friend’ bonus for introducing new team members to us
● 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays, FTE)
● Your Birthday off and an Annual Wellbeing Day (in addition to your annual leave)
● Plus 3 extra days off between Christmas and New Year
● 24/7 access to a remote GP for you and your family
● Career progression and training opportunities

What about you?

You’re the kind of person who lights up around children and believes in the power of play to spark learning. You bring energy, curiosity and a can-do attitude to your work, and you’re always up for trying new things.

You care deeply about inclusion, teamwork and making a difference, not just in the nursery, but in the wider community too.

You’re reflective, open to feedback, and keen to grow. If you’re passionate about giving children the best start in life and want to be part of a team that’s rethinking how Early Years education is done, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re a qualified Early Years Practitioner, Educator, or Teacher looking for an exciting new role that makes a real difference, Raised In could be your perfect next step!

You’ll have (in line with Raised in Behaviours)

● The ability to contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, collaborative and supportive environment
● Children’s needs at the forefront of everything that you do
● A positive mindset, approaching tasks with a can-do-attitude
● A strong work ethic, setting a good example for others and supporting your team
● The want to make a difference, working in partnership positively with your team
● The want to be part of trying or suggesting new initiatives and ways of doing things
● High standards for yourself, team and the nursery
● A reflective mindset, open to feedback and ongoing self-improvement

• NNEB
• NVQ Level 3+ Diploma (Childcare & Education)
• BTEC (Childcare)
• QTS
• Foundation Degree or BA Hons in Early Years Education or Child Development

Please note: The Level 3 Award in Early Years Education does not meet the DfE’s criteria for a “full and relevant” Level 3 qualification for staffing ratios in early years settings.

As a part of our safer recruitment policy and commitment to safeguarding, we will require you to complete our application form directly on our website during the process. It’s super easy to use and mobile-friendly.
