About the Apprenticeship:
Do you have at least six months’ work experience in horticulture, but want to learn more, develop team leader supervisor skills and achieve a qualification? Our Level 3 apprenticeship at RHS Garden Rosemoor is the perfect way to advance your career in horticulture.
Our Level 3 Horticulture Supervisor apprenticeship will support you to learn horticultural team leader supervisory skills and develop your knowledge and skills in the science, art and practice of horticulture by working alongside knowledgeable and experienced staff in the workplace and supervising staff and volunteers. You will also attend college to study for the qualification, develop your understanding of horticulture, and embed the practical learning.
During the apprenticeship, you will:
• Complete a Level 3 qualification at college (equivalent to A Level)
• Carry out practical work, in all weathers and across the seasons
• Will work across all our garden teams. RHS Garden Rosemoor includes Estates, Edibles & Nursery, Decorative Ornamental and Woody Ornamental.
• Learn how to use appropriate techniques, tools and machinery, to cultivate, establish and care for our plant collections all year round
• Work safely and garden sustainably
• Gain horticultural team leader supervisory skills
• Learn how to adapt to change and different environments, conditions and technologies
These experiences and the skills you learn will equip you for professional life in the industry and advance your career in horticulture.

Due to government funding rules, to be eligible for the apprenticeship:
Applicants must not already hold a Level 3 qualification in Horticulture.
UK nationals, citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) or with Pre-Settled Status through the EU Settlement Scheme and those with the right to abode must have been resident in the UK for at least the previous three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
