As Service Lead for Start Well Commissioning, you will lead the strategic commissioning of services that improve outcomes for children, young people, and families. You’ll work collaboratively across social care, education, and health to ensure services are high-quality, cost-effective, and aligned with local needs and statutory responsibilities. Here at BwD we are constantly looking for ways to improve our services and develop a thriving marketplace. We are looking for someone who can inspire and lead our team in the delivery and implementation of our strategic plans. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring proficient commissioning both across the Local Authority and NHS operating environments.
Our children, young people and families are at the heart of our commissioning plans, and a commitment to co-producing approaches with people who draw down on services is essential. The successful candidate will be a member of the senior leadership team and therefore, as well as leading the transformation of commissioned services, the post holder will also influence the priorities and work programme across Children’s and Education.
