A well-regarded, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in the heart of Bury is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. The Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon at this practice, the successful candidate will be fully accountable for patient care, ensuring the delivery of exceptional standards to clients, patients, and colleagues alike. They will play a key role in maintaining regulatory and operational compliance, while contributing to a progressive and supportive clinical culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional clinical care and outstanding client service daily.
• Conduct consultations and procedures, with full accountability for patient care and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and practice standards.
• Prepare accurate estimates and manage payments at the point of treatment.
• Lead engaging clinical meetings and support veterinary and nursing teams.
• Mentor and develop colleagues through coaching and clinical guidance.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Full RCVS registration as a Veterinary Surgeon.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and team-working skills.
• Experience delivering high-quality clinical care to clients and patients.
• Understanding of nurse consults and their role in efficient clinic operations.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills to bring out the best in colleagues.
