Crynodeb
In addition to clinical duties, the post-holder will be required to participate in clinical governance activities, including clinical audit, clinical effectiveness, risk management, quality improvement activities as required by the Trust, and external accrediting bodies. World-class research facilities are available in collaboration with the University of Oxford. There are established and productive links with a range of disciplines including Mathematics, Genetics, Epidemiology, Biomedical engineering, Laser technology and with Industry partners. The post holder will have allocated time during their working week protected for research activity. The post holder may be required to work in one of the University of Oxfords research buildings (e.g. Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe site; Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME), Old Road Campus; Targeted Discovery Institute, Old Road Campus). The post holder is expected to produce peer-reviewed publications and present at international meetings. Dedicated academic time has been incorporated into the timetable.
