Crynodeb
The duties outlined below are not definitive and may be changed in accordance with the needs of the service. The duties of this post include: Working with the members of the Oxford Stone Group as part of a team to deliver the lithotripsy service. Independent operation of the lithotripter following comprehensive induction and training. Working with the Oxford Stone Group to deliver clinical services if and when required. Participate in a weekly specialized Stone Clinic. Participate in General Urology Clinics if required. Participate in morning ward rounds. Taking on a lead role in planning, projecting, conducting, and publishing of several research projects relevant to the service. Being responsible in updating and actioning of the BAUS endourology audits, lithotripsy database and PCNL audit. Ensuring up-to-date and accurate administrative and medical records as required. Supervision and teaching of junior doctors and nurses as required. Acting as a tutor for medical students and deliver clinical teaching related to general surgical topics as required. Maintain an accurate logbook of educational, research and clinical activities.
