Monday – Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm
Mold
Our client based in Mold are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will contribute to the site’s sales development through the delivery of the competent and efficient customer service to the site’s existing and potential accounts.
Performance Objectives
• Act as a point of contact for the designated existing as well as potential customers.
• Maintain the business relationships with the current designated accounts to ensure further continuity and development of the sales.
• Regularly report on the sales results and Customer relations following the established schedules and formats of the information.
• Compliance with company’s Health and Safety requirements.
• Conduct and behaviour in line with company’s Dignity at Work policy.
• Act as a point of contact for the designated existing as well as potential customers
• Process the sales orders and call offs accurately, ensuring the highest standards of customer service. These orders and call offs must be placed at the correct price, quantity, delivery point and with the correct purchase order number/reference.
• Process purchase orders for items that are bought from other sites within the group and external suppliers.
• Actively contribute and support Buddy System for holiday and other absence cover.
• Raise all requests for quotation/costing and other requirements for new specifications as received.
• Manage the Customer’s complaints and invoice queries efficiently.
• Raise invoices to cover costs of origination where appropriate.
• Contribute towards recovery of assets where required-i.e. payments and pallets.
• Proactively follow up on quotations supplied to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain the business relationships with the current designated accounts to ensure further continuity and development of the sales.
• Proactively look for additional opportunities for sales and enhanced customer experience with regular communication to the respective Area Sales Manager.
• Support the client in the decision-making process through the delivery of professional advice and expertise in close conjunction with the respective Area Sales Manager and Technical Managers.
• Meet Customers during visits to plant and visits to customer sites.
• Manage stockholding for customers to agreed levels and support with regular communication to customers and relevant internal departments.
• Maintain and develop customers through adherence to all known Service Level Agreements and in line with respective procedures.
Person Specification
• Able to proactively work with and support colleagues in Sales Department as well as colleagues in other departments.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in conflict situations both with colleagues and customers.
• Sustained professional attitude.
