Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and technically proficient Cover Manager to lead on the operational administration of the Academy’s Management Information Systems (MIS) and the daily coordination of staff cover.
You will act as the specialist lead for platforms such as Bromcom, ParentPay, and My Child at School (MCAS), ensuring these systems are expertly configured to support curriculum delivery, safeguarding, and parental engagement. A central part of this role involves the intricate management of the Academy timetable and staff absence; you will be the first point of contact for notifications, responsible for arranging high-quality agency supply and internal cover to ensure that teaching and learning remain seamless and undisrupted.
In addition to your operational duties, you will serve as the Local Data Protection Officer (LDO), upholding the highest standards of GDPR compliance and data security across the Academy. This multifaceted role requires a professional with sharp attention to detail and the ability to provide high-level technical advice to Senior Leadership regarding staffing structures and directed time. Whether you are managing end-of-year system migrations, supporting the Exams Officer with complex scheduling, or overseeing data subject access requests, your work will be fundamental to the Academy’s efficiency.
If you are a collaborative professional with a commitment to excellence and a "right first time" ethos, we invite you to apply for this vital position within our support team!
