We are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working full-time, 40 hours a week, across a mixed shift pattern (day and night shifts), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Morgan House.

Morgan House to a 5 bed mixed gender mental health continuing care service located in Blythe Bridge, Stoke on Trent. The unit will provide care and support for service users stepping down from mental healthcare hospitals and provide a care pathway with individualised needs-based support plans, including support from a Multidisciplinary Professional team, similar to other continuing care units operated by Cygnet.

Your day-to-day…

  • Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
