Crynodeb
As a Business Analyst you will support the successful delivery of the Council’s LGR and devolution programmes, acting as a critical link between service areas, programme teams and technical colleagues. The role involves working with services and stakeholders to understand current operations, define future-state service models and identify opportunities for improvement, integration and efficiency. This includes leading investigative and analysis work to onboard and enhance services on the Council’s Microsoft Dynamics platform and other digital solutions.
Additional responsibilities include the gathering, analysis and documentation of business requirements to inform service redesign, systems integration and transformation as well as the mapping and analysis of ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes across complex, multi-service environments. Alos translating complex needs into clear process flows and supporting documentation, impact assessments, benefits realisation and risk management are key components of the role.
This is a hands-on Business Analyst role requiring excellent communication skills, strong analytical capability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. Significant experience as a Business Analyst working on complex change or transformation programmes and working with senior stakeholders across multiple services or organisations is essential to being successful in the role. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to analyse and simplify complex processes and data as well as possessing a strong understanding of digital delivery, the software development lifecycle and agile ways of working.
