Crynodeb
Clinics - General Surgery has a busy outpatient clinic schedule. Most clinics are based at the Princess Royal University Hospital site but clinics are also held in a small number of local satellite locations. The post holder has an important responsibility for and contribution to make to infection control and must be familiar with the infection control and hygiene requirements of this role. The General Surgery service at Kings College NHS Foundation Trust is a single Trust service and, this post will be based at the Princess Royal University Hospital site near Bromley and South Sites, attendance at other sites including Kings College Hospital may be required. Inpatients General Surgery has its own dedicated ward space at the Princess Royal University Hospital in support of a busy elective schedule and a busy 24 hour Emergency Department, Breast, Endoscopy and ITU areas. Theatres General Surgery has an average of fourteen elective main theatre sessions per week as well as a daily emergency list. In addition, General Surgery has an average of five day theatre sessions per week and Endoscopy lists 7 days per week. Please see Job Description attached for full duties
