Summary
This job is for a Specialist doctor in Otorhinolaryngology. The job is a full time post comprising of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs). Initially it is a 1 year fixed term post.
The post is intended to provide a Otorhinolaryngology service predominantly for the local catchment population.
This is a full-time 10PA post to support the duties of the existing ENT clinicians, based at Frimley Health and the local community hubs. The post is intended for an experienced ENT Surgeon who will participate in the delivery of ENT services, in particular the post holder will undertake outpatient clinics and carry out ENT surgery under indirect supervision of the ENT Consultants.
The duties would be at Frimley Park Hospital and Aldershot Centre for Health, but the post holder would be expected to work flexibly according to the demands of the service including Heatherwood Hospital and the needs of the department.

The post holder will be expected to help with morning ward rounds and emergency operating as required. On call activities can also be discussed once in post. It will comprise of 8.5 direct clinical care sessions (currently 1 pa operating) and 1.5 SPA.
