What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A solid understanding of EYFS and child development.
  • Confident communication and the ability to support/lead others.
  • A genuine passion for play-based, child-led learning.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead your room, creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that inspire curiosity.
  • Support children’s development through purposeful interactions, tailored activities and high-quality observations.
  • Use both indoor and outdoor environments to deliver varied, enriching play opportunities.
  • Guide and support your room team, modelling strong practice and positive communication.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with families, ensuring clear, supportive daily communication.
  • Uphold high standards of safety and wellbeing, ensuring every child feels valued and included.
