We are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to work within a specialist SEMH provision in Rochdale. This is a full-time, long-term role with a clear pathway to a permanent contract following a successful 12-week period.
This provision supports pupils who present with social, emotional and mental health needs, often alongside additional learning or behavioural challenges. The school is looking for a teacher who can build strong, trusting relationships and provide consistency, structure and high-quality teaching in a nurturing but firm environment.
The Role:

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS / QTLS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Holds QTS / QTLS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching pupils with SEMH, behaviour needs or in alternative provision
Has experience teaching pupils with SEMH, behaviour needs or in alternative provision

Confident in managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

Calm, patient, resilient and emotionally intelligent
