Summary
Hertfordshire Children's Sensory Processing Service is based on a 3 Tier model of service delivery, with provision at Universal, Targeted and Specialist tiers tosupport neurodivergent children and young people (CYP).
We are looking to recruit a 0.6 WTE (22.5 hours per week) Therapy Assistant Practitionerto join our growing team.
This is an exciting time for Hertfordshire as we continue to develop our support offer to provide specialist services to meet the sensory processing needs of Children and Young People ( CYP) . As a multidisciplinary team we are aligned to the Children and Young People’s Specialist Services Directorate and work closely with our CYP services and system partners including voluntary sector organisations, mental health services, social care and education.

Successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic and motivated. Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
You will demonstrate an ability to work alone in the community with both direct and remote support from qualified staff. You will be willing to develop your skills and work effectively with others.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
You will be part of a friendly and supportive integrated multidisciplinary team delivering a locally driven, needs led service; ensuring children and their families are at the heart of service delivery

• Continued Professional Development opportunities, including in service masterclasses
• Opportunities to work alongside other therapists/assistants to deliver intervention to CYP requiring support
• An initial induction period where you will have the opportunity to observe and shadow your team.
