Summary
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving properties under our management . You will need to attend the properties to deal with the maintenance issues reported by the tenants and fix them. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and excellent customer service abilities.
Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building structures, fixtures, and equipment
Complete day to day repairs
Carry out damp and mould works
Carry out minor joinery and plumbing duties including repairing leaking taps
Undertake general maintenance and decorating including interior painting of walls, ceilings and woodwork
Carry out estate maintenance
Fixing leaky taps, patching walls, repairing doors, and more.
Replacing light fixtures, switches, minor leaks.
Touch-up painting, preparing surfaces
Experience
previous experience of working in building or maintenance is required as you will be carrying out repairs to properties which are rented or being prepared to go to the letting market and need to prepare the properties for tenant purpose. Routine maintenance for properties to deal with tenant complaints. Driving License and car required to visit properties /houses.
