Summary

About Dimensions

At Dimensions, your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Guided by integrity and respect, we'll reward you with benefits that truly make a difference in your life and your wellbeing. From financial peace of mind to moments of recognition that make you proud, we'll value you every step of the way. Rooted in partnership, we believe that when we take care of you, you can keep making everyday matter - for the people we support and for yourself.

About the role

We're looking for Support Workers to join our registered home in Barnet, North London, earning £12.64 per hour. Full-time and part-time hours are available.

You'll support seven individuals, three women and four men, aged between their 50s and 90s, each with their own room. Support is provided on a 2:1 basis due to complex health needs. Your role will include personal care, assisting individuals who use wheelchairs and require hoisting, supporting with feeding guided by SALT assessments, and helping with cooking and meal preparation.

This is a welcoming home where karaoke nights, football matches, and meals out are part of everyday life. Interests include music, cinema, walks, day trips, and Greek culture so if you share any of these passions, you'll fit right in. Communication styles vary, so a calm, patient, and thoughtful approach is key. You'll receive full training to support individuals with epilepsy and other complex medical needs.

Shifts run between 7:00am and 9:45pm and can be split into half days (around 7.5 hours). Sleep-in shifts are part of the role, and you'll work alternate weekends.

About you

You'll be caring, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure. Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs is helpful, but full training is provided. You'll need strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to person-centred support.
