About the Role We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Primary Care Dispensing Assistant to join our busy primary care/GP dispensing team. You will play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines and providing an excellent service to our patients. Working under the supervision of a pharmacist or dispensing lead, you will assist with prescription processing, stock management, and patient-facing duties in line with all relevant policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with the accurate dispensing and preparation of prescriptions Label and assemble medicines for patient collection Provide a professional and courteous service to patients and carers Manage stock levels, expiry dates, and medicine storage Support repeat prescription processing Maintain accurate records and patient confidentiality Follow all health & safety, infection control, and governance requirements What Were Looking For Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work well as part of a team A positive, patient-focused approach Basic IT skills
