An exciting opportunity has arisen for Ward Clerk as full time (37.5 hours a week), to work in 5 South Neuroscience Treatment Unit in Charing Cross Hospital and a part time post 15 hours a week, Thursday and Friday only in 9 North HASU . We are looking for motivated and proactive individuals to provide a comprehensive administrative service, who can manage and prioritize their own workload whilst liaising closely with the other administrative team, managers in the department and clinicians.

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational and the ability to prioritize work in order to meet deadlines. This is required along with outstanding communication skills along with a flexible and adaptable approach to duties. The role will include reception duties in outpatient clinics, scheduling patient appointments and providing data entry support.

Candidates should be proficient in using all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook with a good standard of general education with demonstrable proficiency in English. Previous experience working within a hospital or medical environment is desirable.
• Effective delivery of clerical and reception duties for the clinic.
• Input and maintenance of accurate patient information on Trust information systems.
• Provision of excellent customer service to members of the public and staff who visit or contact the clinic.
• Contribution to positive patient experiences.
