CIS Security is recruiting for a Security Officer at a newly redeveloped estate in the heart of King’s Cross. Located just east of King’s Cross Station, the site spans 260,000 sq. ft of mixed-use real estate, featuring 12 office buildings and 20 retail and leisure units. The estate is surrounded by a vibrant mix of global brands, hotels, and restaurants, creating a dynamic and engaging environment to work in.Information:Position: Security Officer Location: London (N1)Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour Hours: Average 56 hours per weekShifts: 3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 Off - 0700 to 1900 and 1900 to 0700Job Requirements: SIA Licence requiredSecurity experience is preferredPhysically fit to complete patrols externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods in all weathersExcellent levels of customer service & communication at all timesMust have good command of English Language and IT skillsReliable, confident, punctual and committedTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.The ability to work independently and as part of a teamHave a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situationsBe confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific dutiesBe able to provide all the documentation and vetting information?requestedCCTV licence & First Aid qualification is a bonus Job Responsibilities: Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality security presence and customer service to both our clients and service users To take all reasonable and required measures to protect venue Carry out all duties as per instructions including event specific requirements To convey a smart, well-groomed appearance in approved uniform, provide a first-class customer service and display high levels of vigilance throughout a shift To ensure great teamwork at all times always demonstrating a “can do” approach To efficiently report any maintenance issues or Health and Safety concerns to the relevant departments To assist in any other reasonable duties as required To be aware of, and report, any incidents or suspicious activities in person or via radio communications to control room. To provide security presence to event managers during high profile events. To portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour always, using open and appropriate body language. The roles will cover arrange of internal & external duties, inclusive but not limited to; Safeguarding the premises, people and assets within the estate, Excellent Customer Service, Security Systems knowledge, Internal & External Patrolling,, Incident Management, First Aid, Concierge Duties, Reception cover, Maintaining access and egress for emergency vehicles at all times, Ensuring entrances and exits are not blocked or access restricted and providing a 5* service to the public and clients.
