Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career journey in the heart of healthcare? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Histopathology team as a Clerical Officer. This is a part-time position based at the esteemed King's Mill Hospital.
As a Clerical Officer in Histopathology, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of our department. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will ensure the smooth operation of our histopathology services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting secretarial functions, including organising medical meetings and assisting with departmental administration.
• Producing and processing histological reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensuring timely communication of Histopathology reports to clinicians, departments, and external agencies in line with Trust confidentiality policies.
• Contributing to continuous improvement to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
• Supporting diagnostic workflows that provide essential tissue diagnoses for patients across the Trust, general practice, and private sector.
• Assisting with cancer screening and MDT processes to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic information.
