Summary

Property Officer
Full-Time (37 hours) – Permanent
Grade C1 - £34,434 - £37,280 per annum

North Kesteven District Council is seeking an experienced professional to join the Asset Management team; This post puts you at the heart of a varied and regulatory department which is critical in managing the Council’s non-housing assets.

Job Requirements:
• A Building related Higher National Certificate or equivalent experience/qualifications
• Experience in a Property related discipline, preferably managing Assets
• A background in managing Health and Safety compliance
• Experience in people management

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance of all non-housing Assets
• Manage contractors delivering services, repairs and cyclical maintenance
• Contract administration
• Complete condition surveys, inspection reports and carry out building management plans

Key Attributes:
• Good attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with various stakeholders
• A highly organised and conscientious person
• Excellent written skills, such as Strategy reviews

You will be required to apply a high level of competence when carrying out this role, to support the delivery of the Asset Management department at a senior level and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working, and visiting the district.
