Summary

Hours: 8:15am-4:30pm | Start: ASAP / Next Term
We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Secondary Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This role is ideal for a teacher with strong behaviour management skills, experience in SEMH, PRU or alternative provision, and a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

The Role
You will:

Teach KS3-KS4 pupils with SEMH needs

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned to EHCPs
-
Implement consistent and effective behaviour strategies
-
Create a calm, safe and structured learning environment
-
Work closely with pastoral, therapeutic and leadership teams
-
Support pupils' academic progress, emotional regulation and engagement
-
Contribute positively to whole-school culture and routines
This is a Monday-Friday role (8:15am-4:30pm) on a long-term contract until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who has:
-
QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Minimum 6 months' experience in a UK secondary school

Experience in an SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

The ability to commit full-time for the duration of the contract
