Do you have the confidence to support children through the crucial upper primary years?
Are you skilled in delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups?
Do you want to work with the leading education agency in Leeds and choose your own schedule?
If you answered "yes," Randstad Education wants to hear from you. We are currently experiencing high demand for motivated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants to work in our partner primary schools across Leeds. Whether you prefer the variety of daily supply or the stability of a long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit you.
We are looking for practitioners who can hit the ground running, supporting pupils in Years 3 through 6 as they navigate a more complex curriculum and prepare for the transition to secondary school.

Leading small group interventions for Maths and English (catch-up support).
-
Working 1:1 with pupils who have SEN or additional learning needs.
-
Assisting with SATs preparation (specifically for Year 6 roles).
-
Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a focused learning environment.
What we are looking for:
-
Experience: Proven experience working with children in a KS2 setting (Year 3-6) is essential.
-
Skills: Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required to support the KS2 curriculum.
-
Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, though experience is paramount.
-
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and two professional references.
