As a Field Care Supervisor, you willbe responsible forthe ongoing support of both Caregivers and service users, ensuring delivery of thehighestquality care servicesand living up to the excellent company reputation in the community.This role will require a great deal offlexibilityand you will need to be focusedinachieving the company goals and targets. Field Care Supervisors are expected to spendthe majority oftheir working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but their role will typically also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work. Main Duties and Responsibilities The role of Field Care Supervisor is working with theRegistered Manageror their delegateto ensuretheoperations have outstanding compliance. You willbe requiredto work on shift pattern, which is four days working and two days off. Providing hands onexpertisein the delivery of high-qualitypersoncentredcare to service users in their own homesin accordance withtheir support plan.Attending care visits to cover holidays, sick absence, and in an emergency. Taking the lead within care visits, ensuring that you provide a full introduction for Caregivers and service users. Carry outinitialrisk and needs assessments in respect of individual service users, either in the service users home or, whererequired, in other settings such as hospitals or residential/nursing homes.Ensure personalised care planning is in place and true to the service users needs and requirements Work in partnership with service users, their family, carers, advocates, healthcareprofessionalsand others to ensure the seamless delivery of holistic packages of individual care support. Work with Care Coordinators to support the planning ofrealistic, effective Caregiverrotas, with due regard for theparticular needsof the individual and theparticular skillsand attributes of theCaregiver. Carry out regular reviews of individual services, including repeated and renewed needs and risk assessments. Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered.Taking action to makeimprovements if necessary. On-board/shadow new Caregiversin thefield. To assess the competency ofCaregivers completing the care certificate to meet the companys recruitment needs. Ensuring all Caregivers arecompetent to carry out their job roles. To ensuretrainingneeds of allCaregiversare met effectively implement,identifyand provide for on-goingtraining. Act on feedback/concerns from service users and communicate appropriately with the rest of the business. Monitor and assess all service users for customer satisfaction. Promoting serviceusershealth and wellbeing, independence and enabling them tolive their life to the fullest. Treating service users with dignity and respect, communicating effectively to meet their diverse needs. Maintainingappropriate recordsto meet the needs of the service,observingand promptly reporting changes or concerns in yourservice users circumstances andcondition,and act appropriately when these changes arise. Ensuring all service usersandCaregiverspaperwork and files are up to date. Ensuring all confidential information isheldsecurely. UpdatePeople Planner/Mobiziorostering system with outcome ofsupport plans/risk assessments/reviews/caregiverssupervisionsand spot checks Prepare files for newinitialreferrals. Carry out the on-siteobservation and evaluation of Caregiverspractice as part of routine supervisions, in response toparticular performanceconcerns, or as otherwise directed. Monitor, supervise and mentor allCaregivers. Provide support to ourCaregivers in theirday to dayjob. Promote a safe working environment and safe systems of work in respect ofCaregivers in the field. To have theknowledge and ability to model good practice whilst being prepared to challengepoor performance. Understand and follow accident/incident,complaintsand safeguarding reporting procedures. Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of Good in CQC inspections. Ensure all services are compliant withlegislations, CQC standards,regulationsand company and local authoritys requirements. To act in a professional manner. To report any areas of concerns to theRegisteredManager. Toparticipatein the growth and development of the business, achieving targets and delivery within budgets. Act on own initiative and exercise decision making skills, as far as possible and whereverappropriate.
