Crynodeb
To support the Breast Care Nurse Team providing supportive care and information within the outpatient setting to patients and their families with breast cancer. The post holder will provide a high standard of nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of patient care. To work closely with the breast care multi-disciplinary team members to ensure patients are supported and their needs are assessed within the outpatient setting. To promote a patient focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health care professionals. The staff nurse is a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing skilled care and advice to cancer patients and their families / partners / friends in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
