Start 2026 with purpose as a Support Worker in Bath (BA1)
Location: Bath, BA1 (Swainswick Area - just 13 mins from Royal United Hospital)
Pay Rate: £14.21 per hour (higher rate for complex health needs)
Sleep-In Shifts: £50 per night
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Long Days: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
- Sleep-In: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (paid to sleep) + day rate until 11:30 AM
Driver Requirement: Full clean UK manual driving licence (essential - you'll drive a large mobility vehicle)

Who Will You Be Supporting?- Eight adults (six men, two women), aged 40-60, each with unique personalities and support needs
- High and complex needs including epilepsy, PEG feeding, and communication challenges
- Guidance from Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) for safe and effective support
- Diverse preferences—some love holding hands, others prefer space; some enjoy quiet, others thrive in social settings
- Family involvement and cultural sensitivity are essential, especially around dietary needs for individuals from Muslim backgrounds
What Will You Be Doing?- Personal Care: Supporting with hygiene and mobility
- Following SALT Guidelines: Safe feeding and communication support
- Medication Administration: Including epilepsy and PEG feeding
- Engaging in Activities: Music, arts and crafts, baking, sensory sessions, and garden time
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice, creativity, and confidence
- Building Relationships: Reading body language, understanding preferences, and working closely with families
What Are We Looking For?- Positive, driven, and team-oriented
- Creative and musical (bonus if you play an instrument!)
- Observant and patient, with empathy and cultural awareness
- Comfortable driving a mobility minibus (manual licence required)
(Experience with complex care and Positive Behaviour Support is ideal, but full training provided.)
