We are seeking a dedicated carer to work waking night shifts in Kettering. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our client.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintain a vigilant presence throughout the night shift, ensuring the client's safety and comfort at all times.

Administer medication as prescribed and monitor the client's condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Assist with the proper use and maintenance of the CPAP machine, ensuring optimal functionality and hygiene.

Provide skilled care for the client's stoma and catheter, including cleaning, changing, and monitoring for any signs of infection or complications.

Assist with personal care tasks, such as toileting, bathing, and changing positions, while maintaining the client's dignity and comfort.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all care provided, medications administered, and any notable events during the shift.

Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies that may arise, following established protocols and contacting emergency services if necessary.

Ensure a clean and safe environment for the client, including regular tidying and sanitisation of the care area.

Communicate effectively with day shift carers to ensure continuity of care and seamless handover of information.

Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance skills relevant to the client's specific needs.

Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and care plans to ensure the highest standard of care is consistently delivered.

This role requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing compassionate and professional care.
