Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will support a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, working closely with tradespeople and site management to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting skilled trades (carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers, groundworkers, etc.)
Carrying out skilled labour tasks such as:
Basic carpentry
Dry lining and stud work
Demolition and strip-out works
Mixing materials and site preparation
Basic groundworks and concreting
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
Keeping the site clean, safe, and organised
Following health and safety regulations at all times
Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
Completing tasks as directed by the Site Manager or Supervisor
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a skilled labourer in the UK construction industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of construction site health & safety
Competent use of hand and power tools
Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
Good timekeeping and work ethic
