Summary

Lincolnshire Police is seeking a dynamic Deputy Chief Driving Instructor to support and deputise for the Chief Driving Instructor (CDI). This is a pivotal role in the development, delivery, and management of accredited driver training across the force, ensuring our officers are equipped with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to serve safely and effectively.

What you will do
Lead the design and delivery of driver training aligned with national standards (RPPD NPC).
Support the CDI in managing the Driver Training team and maintaining high instructional standards.
Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on driver training and operational matters.
Monitor and mentor students and staff, promoting professional development and ethical conduct.
About you
Proven experience in police driver training or a related instructional role.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, APP, and national curriculum standards.
Ability to manage training schedules, assess risk, and maintain compliance.
