Summary

SEND Teaching Assistant – Part-time, long-term roles available starting as soon as possible We are seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants for part-time, long-term opportunities across Huntingdon and the surrounding areas. These roles offer the chance to make a meaningful impact in a variety of school settings, supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under teacher guidance
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Help pupils develop independence and communication skills
• Provide one-to-one and small group support
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to meet individual learning needs

Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Understanding of inclusive education and behaviour support strategies
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to support pupils across different age groups and settings
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
